Meet Crystal
I personally believe that connection and the therapeutic relationship built between therapist and client is what can help us to heal and grow. My practice is based on building a genuine connection with you in order to help you become empowered to reach your goals. When working with me, you can feel confident that you will receive compassionate, caring and confidential therapy that focuses on your individual and unique needs. My desire is for you to leave therapy with a clearer internal sense of how to live based on what is most meaningful to you instead of allowing external events and people to determine that for you.
I am not a stranger to the highs and lows that happen in life. I draw from these experiences when I offer understanding and support to my clients. Asking for help can be a very terrifying decision to make, particularly when you are not sure whom to go to for help, what you need help for or do not truly believe in the process of counselling. I recognize the courage it takes to ask for help and the brave first step it is into the pursuit of personal well-being.
Professionally I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and I hold a Masters of Arts (MA) in Counselling Psychology. I have over 15 years of experience working with marginalized populations and I have experience working with a variety of modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic theories, and I individualize sessions to complement each client's unique needs.
If you are struggling yourself, need to find some help or support from someone in your family or you are honestly unsure of how or where to begin, I assure you, you have come to the right place. My practice offers Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Adolescent/Teen Therapy, Support/Therapy for parents, parenting consultations, Group Therapy, Online Therapy, Therapy for the student, Workshops, Team building and Public Speaking.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for a free phone consultation where I will be able to answer any questions you have and make sure I am the right person to help you and your family.

Meet Keyva
As a counsellor, an essential part of my practice is the therapeutic relationship between myself and clients. As my partner noted, starting counselling can be a very intimidating process. I want to understand and get to know my clients deeper to begin this very personal, challenging, and wonderful counselling process. I value respect, trust, honesty and communication, which I ensure to create in the relationship with all of my clients. A trusting, open and comfortable relationship with your counsellor can differentiate between healing and rejecting the process.
You can expect a kind, compassionate, non-judgmental listening ear when coming into a session. As your counsellor, I will not expect actions or judge you for your decisions but support and challenge you to grow closer to your goals. My goal is for you to develop a better understanding or different perspective of situations, experiences, or attitudes within your life. Ideally, you'll leave each session with something positive or food for thought going into your daily life. Throughout my education and personal experience, I have understood the power of your mind and the mental strength it takes to create change. I enjoy experiencing this myself and learning ways to create a positive change for the individual I am working with.
Why choose me as your counsellor? Well, I care about my work and the people I interact with. I spend a lot of time expanding my knowledge to ensure I can provide the support needed from each client. Professionally, I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Counselling Psychology. I have over nine years of experience working with families, children and vulnerable populations within many different modalities, including solution-focused, transactional analysis, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. Each interaction is based on the client's needs and not on a specific modality.
